What is going on BladeForums?

We all know Charlie Mike. He's an awesome guy. When I first joined here a couple years ago, I remember seeing some of his posts. Never took him "that" seriously.

But he sure as hell got my attention on this thread when he made it into Blade Magazine. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...month-s-issue-of-Blade?highlight=charlie+mike

So I asked him to make me a similar knife like what was in that thread. I am still waiting for "that" knife be fully completed, but in the mean time, he sent this "piece of scrap" that was made from the left overs of the commissioned build.

To say it has whetted my appetite for what is to come from the "not scrap metal/commissioned build" would be the understatement of the century.

Check this AWESOMENESS out. It was just the left overs.. Ha ha.. Pure Art I Say!

Check out this "custom" kydex sheath to go with my full custom blade! Absolute Perfection..

No pressure Charlie Mike... But holy sh*t, if this "piece of scrap" is this freaking awesome, I think YOU HAVE ARRIVED! And my main piece ain't even here yet..

CHARLIE MIKE FOR THE WIN!!!!

You're too kind. I'm just a guy who makes knives as a hobby in order to lend some legitimacy to all the weapons I need to feel less anxiety.

Ha ha.. I believe they call that "modesty". My wife is now a fan too. She loves her new punch dagger. And she loves herself some CM youtube videos. We are fans and we are subscribed!

Personally, I enjoy how CM's designs all tend to look purposeful first, with an eye for how the knife will fit in the hand. I own and have owned plenty of amazing knives where the ergos weren't the best. CM, you definitely have an eye for it. I'll have to get with you at some point to make something for me. I'm really enjoying watching your skills progress.

This is the real project. It's on the way back from HT.

CM is making his own way...Keep it up.
I don't like all your styles, but I do like your style.
Cheers!

I just watched one of his youtube vids.. Does he still have the benchmade 3550 auto? How is it holding up?

Matt is definitely awesome. His knives are definitely awesome. Excellent designs and quality execution - can't ask for more!
I like that "scrap" knife quite a bit.

It's still holding up well. Gave it to my neighbor.

What, he's got a song too?? Is that like how Eddie Murphy did "Potty" all the time?

You got a youtube video?! I gotta see this!

My bad I knew I should of put not a song song, but a balisong/butterfly knife Matt made. I call it the CharlieMike-Song.
