A friend of mine is getting a custom knife made.

And it is going to be made of BG-42.

But the maker he has chosen is not familiar with the heat treating of BG-42.

So, my friend is looking for makers he can talk to about heat treating, and heat treating methods to get the most out of the steel.

So far there is Paul Bos, Edmund Davidson, Chris Reeves, Greg Lightfoot and Tom Mayo

Can you help?

Trace Rinaldi made a great 4-1/2" TKK for me in BG-42, and I'm very pleased with the way it has performed so far. I'm sure if you ask him, he can also help you stay on the right path.
