I wondered how those two steels compared to eachother.
I am asking this question, because I understand that Chris Reeve now uses S30V for his Sebenza's instead of the BG42(correct me if I'm wrong...). Why doesn't he take the S90V?
Am I right if a say that:
1) S90V offers the best edge retention?
2) S90V is hardest to sharpen?
3) S90V is not as though (being more brittle, I mean)?
Also:
5) Which of the two offers best corrosion resistance?
6) Which takes a sharper edge (either done yourself or having it done by specialist)?
7) Their approriate RC-hardnesses...
8) Any insights or preferences towards one?
Thanks,
