Comparing say a CR small Sabenza to a Spyderco Native, which of those blades holds its edge the best? I realize there is an enormous differece in price between the two knives, but at this stage I'm just concerned about the edge retention. Also, does the Sabenza have a clip so that it can be carried ala typical folder fashion? Thanks, Jack

I would say that my small sebbie holds an edge longer than my 440V native, and yes, the small sebenza does come with a clip, which has recently been improved.

If you compare a Sebenza to a Native, the Sebenza might be better. Probably is.
But: what should that tell about BG-42 and CPM 440-V?
BG-42 is a high temperature steel, 440-V is not. They were created for different purpose.
Happy sharpening

With proper heat treating 440V holds an edge a LOT longer than BG 42.....but BG 42 is tougher, both are expensive but the CPM steels are about the most expensive knife steels on the market.
