BG blade for a 560

What is the cost to upgrade a 560 to BG42 steel? and What is the Rockwell hardness of the handle? I want to upgrade the steel and I was playing with the idea of milling the handle down a little and adding micarta or G10, or one of each. Any information will be appreciated.

We will soon be offering the 560 through Pete's Custom Knife Shoppe and one of the options will be a BG-42 blade. In the meantime, if you want to send me your 560, I will have it fitted with a BG-42 blade for $30.00. I will need to keep the old blade. If this sounds good, go ahead and send it to me at:

I've had the BG-42 upgrade done on my 560. It was a great move. If you really want something different, pay a little extra for a partially serrated blade. I have the partial serrations on my BG-42 Buck 110, and love them!!!!
 
Last I heard a BG-42 blade is not available for the 112 size knives. Soon I hope, but not yet.

I like the idea of adding an upgraded steel to a 422 but the last post is correct, we do not have the 112 in BG-42 or ATS-34.
