For sale is a lightly used BG42 Carbon Fiber Spyderco Military with original box. I carried this more than I used it which is apparent by the wear on the edges of the coating on the clip and on the clip screws. It has not been sharpened and has only cut packages and letters and it has never been taken apart. Its still slicing sharp. Blade is centered and the lockup is solid.
There were two imperfections in this knife from when I bought it new from NGK.
1.The lanyard tube was slightly off center and stuck up on one side. I used a press and pushed it into place. No big deal to me but I want you to know.
2. There is some slight discoloration on the very tip of the blade on the clip side. It looks like it might have been very slightly overheated during its initial grind however it is only on one side of the blade. It does not seem to effect the blade other than the discoloration but I want to make sure you know about this! When I initially bought this knife I called Spyderco CS and was told they would likely not return it with a bg42 blade so I kept it. I can not get this to show up in pictures.
This is a great knife and will make someone an excellent user or if you just have to have this limited edition for your military collection and dont mind the slight imperfection this is a great deal.

This is the best pic of the coloring on the tip I can get. as you can see it only goes down the tip the width of the grind or slightly more.
