Was just wondering as I wait for mine, what you guys have planned for yours? Safe Queen or Queens or just Use it. Since I just ordered one I'm not sure of what I will do.
 
For me it's going to be a user, absolutely ! Just deciding on pants for it, kydex or leather ? Got a couple others I need some leather for, so may just go that route.
 
Use use USED user. I want it I want it I want it I want it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im not joking as said before might not ever see the GBASH cause will probably end up in a sanitarium for the rest of this life driven completely insane over the wait. Its killing me, its gotdamn killing me.:o Anybody hear anything yet?

This knife was made to be used. If had the money would have got multiples and one would have kept minty(for awhile) I really really like sr101. Holds and edge very long, easy to sharpen (with diamond stones anyway), tough, and priced well. Ill end up with a big infi knife somewhere down the line but my kin knives in sr101 will be the vast majority of what I own for fixed blades.

I got the email the other day one of mine was ready, Ive seen others have heard also, so they are starting to be released into the wild :-) I'm always just happy enough to be in the pipeline knowing I scored, cause I know whenever it gets here I'm gonna love it !!!!!! The wait to me is half the fun :-)
 
My card just got dinged for a Muddy/Tan canvas! And it will be a user with some digital Tan Camo pants. The tuff part will be do I carry it or the BIG ASH when in the boonies.
 
Use that bad boy...or girl...however you name it....beat it!
Helps me alot to just blast some Hank 3 and go out back and demolish things.....but that's just me.
 
User all the way....

To me, a safe queen will be in an uncoated blade. I still wish to get an ASH-1 in INFI, possibly satin in a thin profile (. Skinny or .20 approximately). That one might be a safe Queen. As it stands, all of my small blades are assigned to kitchen duty..... Haven't been in the bush much since we have the new house:(
 
I haven't decided, honestly. I purchased two; so I've got options. Save both; Use both; Use one, save one; Use one, sell one; Save one, sell one; Sell both (I'd have to dislike it, or be broke, for this choice). This was my first Busse purchase; so I won't deny my curiosity.
 
User all the way. Everything from yard work, driving nails in a pinch, to cutting up shad for blue cats

Mr. Moore .... What can I say but.... What a way to start!:thumbup:
Truly one of Busse's greatest designs..... If I were in your shoes I'd use one and store the other:D.... Just saying.

As a rat, I'm not a total stranger to the madness...I've even participated in a Ganzaaa. With the Battle Grade being SR101, it seemed like an easy entry point,

Is it wrong that I'm not entirely certain which blade/handle options I selected? I know I could go back to my order acknowledgement & check....but there's something about surprises (actually, I don't like surprises, as a rule - this is different because I trust my taste)
 
I'm going to make a user out of at least 1 of them. I am really holding my breath for the BGSFNO. The ASH is great, but the SFNO handle fits my hand better.

I like your thinking, I love the SFNO handles ! I'm in deep if Busse releases the BG SFNO !

Would like to see a BG NMSFNO Sabre grind ??? Oh too dream :-)
 
These things were made be beaten! They are "combat grade", beautiful only to their mother, cheap(ish) and tough. Some folks mention that infi is tougher in larger knives, and this may be so, however SR 101 can take pretty much any beating you throw at it. Remember the KDSH are SR 101... Anyone ever broken one of those???? Didn't think so. Ogre chopped a car in half with one for heaven sake!
 
The NMSFNO is awesome, but just a little large for me to feel like it is a practical choice to pack around. However, that doesn't keep me from owning several and if the boss releases a BG NMSFNO I would be in for at least one....sabre grind and I am in for a couple

.....second thoughts on options?.... Only fools never change their minds... I've got handles in G10 and canvas. They way many mention it, the canvas is tougher and better in the wet. One way or the other, both are great. The advantage that we have is that the shop is never farther than a call away... Fine people at the other end of the line too;)
 
Can't have second thoughts when I don't remember what my first ones were, lol. All I can say for sure is that I stuck with canvas micarta, and got one of each color. I'd be willing to bet that I went with muddy for the tan canvas. The blade for the black canvas could have gone a couple ways - in part because the website was being uncooperative with that selection. Thinking either sage or tanker.
 
I plan on wearing one out making sheaths :) thank you all for the orders.
 
It will be a user. I ordered a FAT ASH from the custom shop awhile ago and have received that for my safe queen.
