Have a great weekend!

If they can get this model down to more more than 3lbs, it'll truly be awesome. This is meant to be a one-handled sword IMO. The OAL and blade length seem just right for what I'd like in a kopis/falcata sword, they just need to make the blade thinner. 5/16" to 3/8" thick at the max. If they do that, I'll have to bite for sure.

IMO it would be a whole lot prettier without that copper inlay in the blade.:( The nice little inlays along the Sword of Shiva add too the looks but, again IMO, that big piece of copper really takes away from the looks and is just plain ugly.:(

I really like the shape of this Kopis style knife. I'm curious as to why it's called the Bhairab Kukhuri? As mentioned above the copper inlay really does take something away from it though.

Still a gorgeous piece of work though. :D

In the first of these, offered for sale yesterday, people referred to the pommel as being a lion, but the description states:

Brass Bhairab head buttcap

So that's where the Bhairab reference comes from (one of the aspects of the God Shiva, see Bhairava at Wikipedia).

Just noticed the copper inlay- thought that was a reflection!

More surprises from the East.
