Been thinking about buying a classic bushcraft style knife and right know it looks like the Blind Horse Knives Bushcrafter but I'm certainly open to suggestions.

Requirements:
Bushcraft style
No more than about $130ish (what the BHK Bushcrafter costs)
Must be available in a grind other than Scandi
Leather sheath

Thanks!

Fortunately for you there's alot of options in the "Bushcraft" line nowadays. I just got my first BHK Bushcrafter a couple days ago and it's got one of the sharpest factory edges I've seen in a while. The big handle makes it pretty comfortable for extended use, I thought it was too much before handling one. If you posted this in the "Great Outdoors" section you'd already have a list of knives. My experience with different brands is limited but I've seen/handled a Ray Laconico Bushcrafter and it was pretty nice (great cutter) they run about 160ish, I've heard nothing but rave reviews of the Spyderco Bushcrafter but it's more than your price range too.

There's some custom makers here too who make great bushcraft knives... Core Knife Co. and Battle Creek Knives come to mind and the price range is right about where you're looking. Production: I think you'll be totally set with the BHK.

Thanks! Is there a way to move threads? I didn't know about the outdoors section...

JW Knives just posted 3 bushcrafters for sale in the custom section here. i have one of his tantos and it is a great blade. He listed them a little over where you set your point but they are worth every penny. And he's a great guy to deal with.

I don't know about the bushcrafter but i just got the Woodsman Pro and it is awesome. Fit and finish are perfect and the leather sheath is a great fit. I've already considered the Boattail. Nice knives, nice guys.
