Had a great Knife day today. I won a free Busse knife, I got my GEK toothpick and I got my December candi special from blind horse knives :D

For 90 bucks, I think this knife is very good. Fit and finish was great. The only flaw is that where the blade meets handle, the grind is slightly uneven. This would not effect the function at all. The full scandi grind is very even and VERY sharp.Easily shaves hair. I havent had a chance to do any bushcraft and will add a full review in the next couple weeks. Enjoy!

The BHK Boat Tail scandi is one hell of a knife! :thumbup:

Would recommend to any scandi user!
 
I received mine but haven't had a chance to "play" with it yet.

Initial impression is that it is one SOLID knife. Good blade design & size. Grip is on the large side and may not be comfortable for those with smaller hands.

Certainly an affordable workhorse of a field blade.
 
I got my BHK Boat Tail scandi about a week ago. Perfect fit and finish, grind is even and SHARP! The best part is that the 5/8ths thin handle oddly doesn't feel too thin.. I know it should but it doesn't.

Best 90 bucks I ever spent on a knife!
 
That grip looks surprisingly full! Unless you have midget hands, of course. ;) I might have to look out for one of those for sale..
 
Got mine last week too. Very nicely made and a great value, especially at the intro price. Here's an in-hand shot from a different angle. The longer handle provides a secure grip and is very comfortable. :thumbup:

I got mine awhile back too. BHK is really a great company. First Scandi Ive actually liked. (untill I get my Terrasaur and Skookum I ordered) I find the length of the handle makes it a very versitle knife.
 
i love the BHK scandi... i have had mine for a little over a week now too.. it's a great all around design...:thumbup: mine has been seeing a lot of use...
 
Got my BHK scandi the day after Christmas.

It is quickly becoming my favorite. Echoing "the best $90 I have ever spent" as well.
