Any bets that the new
BHQ Para2 black CPM-M4, jade scales
turns into the new
DLT Red M390 craziness on the Knife Exchange.
 
I'd pick the Red M390 over a Jade M4 any day. But then again I bought neither, despite having the opportunity. On the other hand a Red DLC M390, I might buy just because. Although the BHQ was available pretty long, so everybody who wanted one badly probably got one.
 
Meh, nothing that the s110v version can't do! :)

I wish Spyderco would use the same steel but different handle combo, instead of different color for different steel. Those jade scales would be perfect on like 10 different steels.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't do that given how well the others had sold. I don't know if it's possible, but a really clear G10 that's practically translucent would go kinda neat with the interior of the Shaman.
 
Not a chance in Hell I would pay that for ANY PM2. But I was not aware a DLC red one was expected. If they did that I would be interested for sure. Sounds cool.

It's not expected or announced as far I am aware. I just thought that red scales with black DLC hardware would be a neat looking combination I would buy at a reasonable price. :thumbsup:
 
I think pretty much everyone who wanted one was able to get one (or 3). They were available for about a day. I wasn't here for the red M390 craze though, so I don't know how this works..
I hope the flippers get burned. $100 mark-up is just asinine.
 
Well one of my two has arrived and it’s impressive . Perfect blade centering , nice action blade free falls , looks very nice to and excellent fit and finish . To be honest My plan was to sell one but I might just keep them both lol . My other one is due to arrive Monday .

Well on a earlier post I stated how proud I was and how good it felt not to pull the trigger on the KW Pm2 m4 exclusive.
Sadly I must say I’ve failed and just ordered one and I blame it on how much I liked this BHQ m4 :thumbsup:
Had to have it since it will be a perfect match for my KW Millie exclusive .
On a brighter note it actually felt better then the reward of not buying it lol :D

You should do a scale swap. All black DLC CF on one and Satin and Jade on the other. I think that would look very nice and you have an excuse for having bought both. Win Win! :D

LOL great idea but I had actually previously ordered a silver short Lynch DP clip and thought it might clash with the black DLT exclusive so just ordered a black one for it and I’ll run the silver on the KW exclusive lol .

In the history of PM2 sprints/exclusives, these days we don't have half the craziness of years past.
 
I think it is the first PM2 in tool steel that is dlc coated which is why I really like it :thumbsup:

It’s another keeper and perfect example.
So looks like I’m forced to keep both of them :( and make one a safe queen
