How's everyone doing?
So this morning I was shopping bhq looking at the new Olamic Swish, looking at colors, variations, etc. This one in particular is the one with the blue "holes" handle and black stonewash blade.
Item #BHQ-72269

Then I noticed that on one of the knives picked to be the model there's something weird about the grind. I click and zoom, and holy grinds batman!

The grind is noticeably shallower at the tip than the heel and there's a nasty "S" curve down by the heel as well, and I haven't even seen the other side! I mean, I wouldn't be happy getting that for $565, and I noticed it from my 3" iPhone screen(my crkt homefront came with a better grind:confused:)

Anyways, this isn't meant at all as a bash post, it could be an anomaly as I've only heard good things about them. I just thought it was kind of funny. Also to see what you guys think. Am I being a picky jerk or is that kind of ugly for the price point?

Eh, could just be the angle of that picture. Without a sharpening choil not sure there is any other way to end a grind although it could be better.

I wouldn't be happy for $565 because the blade design looks weird as hell to me (canted rearwards) and I could buy two knifes I'd prefer with the money. TBH there is nothing about that particular knife I like.

I thought the same thing initially, but then I looked at the "kinetic earth" colored one with black blade and it was picture perfect heel to tip

Ok, yup looked at the other two and definitely the heel could have been done better like on the other two - the grind is *probably* off too. Kinda sad to see this stuff at this price point, it should be near perfect IMO.

Here's the picture in case if people need a visual reference.
