I came home for lunch and awaiting me in the mail is perhaps the coolest sword I've yet seen from HI. I have been swinging it around while eating my sandwich (careful, careful, I know ). I am soo stoked by it, but I have to get back to work, so no pix yet. But my first 30 minutes of ownership sez :thumbup::p

Need more PHOOOOTOOOOOOSSS!!! Please? Till I can get a Bhutan sword of me own, pics will have to suffice! :D

Thanks topgun! I was actually wantin' to see this SPECIFIC Bhutan though, 'cause it "got away"... i.e. I saw the DotD long after Abaniko already snatched it up. :(

Pix as promised:

I really like the picture of the sword in hand, it really helps give a sense of size and I wish more people did that. With your hand in the shot, I can really see what a beast that sword is. Beautiful!

I love my Bhutan. The only issue I have is the handle is a bit beefy for my girly hands . But great for zombies!

I expect exactly the same issue.:o

But if the diameter of the grip isn't too big, and is similar to my Uddha, it shouldn't be too hard to get a good grip. I guess all will be revealed when my Bhutan arrives.

Interesting weapon. It's sort of a hand-and-a-half short broadsword with a single edge. Odd, but it looks viciously effective.

Thanks everyone of the comments and compliments
BC: The grip diameter is similar to my Uddha, but it is the balance of the sword that is so surprising: Can a blade be heavy and lively at same time? This one is. It feel kinda like a cross between an Uddha and a Chitlangi Bowie (NOT the Giant).
It goes one or 2 handed real easy. An escrimador's dream IMHO. It is a hunk o' steel. My wife said: "what kind of truck spring did they use on this one..." Nice finish, the temper rings real pretty, and she has a Wicked point. Unexpectedly, this sword has quickly become my favorite HI long blade.:thumbup::thumbup::cool:

OK...excuse my ignorance but, what is the Seal Of Oklahoma doing? VERY new to this side of the forums...usually in the WS&S so again, please forgive me.
