Does anyone know of anyone that makes a bifold wallet that has a sturdier, beefy leather so that the corners don't crush in and destoy the corners of plastic cards?

I've been looking at the Filson all leather Packer wallet as it looks pretty solid and doubled up along the edges.

Anyone have any experience or better ideas?

Thanks,
Kevin

I've been carrying a ray skin bifold wallet for several years and I'm completely satisfied with it.

My wallet is the bridle leather Filson, had it for a few years now. No problems at all with damage to credit cards.

The ray skin just keeps going and going and going...........I don't think you can destroy this stuff! Mines made by Stingray Products.

Have a look here... these are pretty cool. I personally own only two wallets, a modified Maxpedition RAT and a Cartier Passport Wallet. The Passport Wallet has two metal corners. You might also look at the Polish company whose name I can never pronounce- starts with a W.

I too have the Filson Packer Wallet and after a year it is still in great shape. Very sturdy leather and guaranteed for life.

I've owned 4 Filsons...not that they've worn out, I just wanted a different feel after a while. Very well made and not TOO expensive.
Get one, you won't regret it,

I looked at the bison leather wallet from Orvis and still went with the Filson. It was a close call but the Filson was just a little nicer and cheaper.

I must like the Filson to keep chiming in about it.

Try this, cut a blank out of 3mm aluminum about 10% bigger than a standard card and place it in your wallet behind your bank cards. This will stop them flexing, cracking lengthways and not be too bulky.I've done this with my cheapo webtex wallet and it seems to be working.
