Congratulations! That's quite an achievement, and well worth the effort. :)

COOL BEANS MAN. thats pretty awesome

Congratulations. I had to skip a few places in Leviticus and Numbers and also had a little trouble in Revelation. It's a lot to take in, no wonder it can be studied for a lifetime. Did you read straight through or follow a plan that skipped around some?

Awesome. What translation did you read?

Don't let your reading stop there no matter how times you read it you'll get new stuff.

Truer words were never spoken :D

Awesome way to go man! Leviticus can be very tedious but REV is an awesome book! PM me if you need any help with any of that :D

We read kjv and we were reading bible schedule , from faith baptist bible college., and it does skip around.
Starting jan.1 2010 we will do it all over again, but we will be trying it in the kjv version chronological.
this was the first time in 62 years that we ever did this, and now we want to do it this way.

Good going , I have several books schedules and change each year. The books differ slightly in amount of reading in a day and assign certian additional reading assignments as well.

I am happy for you, but why is this in Shoptalk? perhaps it needs to be moved to "Around The Grinder" or the "Community Center"

Neat I have real trouble with Revelations, I really like it but its tough to understand you gotta read it over and over again

Nebulae, I urge you - and everyone else who has in interest in Revelation - to read Hank Hanegraaff's The Apocalypse Code. He supports the thesis that the apostle John was writing about events occurring in 70AD (as opposed to the futurist view), and backs it up by pointing to the Old Testament referants from which Revelation was drawn.

Seriously - trust Powernoodle and get this book from the library or purchase it. If nothing else, it will give you a solid understanding of one of the 3 main views of Revelation.

As for Bible reading, there are no other comparable ventures so worthy. I like to listen to it on CDs in the car.

Good for you,and your wife,Vern.

As Mr.Benyamin said,''Please continue reading the Word''

No good will come, with us leaving GOD out of all that we do.I DO LOVE THE USA,BUT JUST LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE HEADED TODAY

God bless,Keith

I like biblegateway dot com for on-line and the "youversion" on my i-Phone. The app has a picture of a brown book that says Holy Bible on it. You can use any of several translations when you are in the network but there are several you can download into the phone to have on hand when you aren't connected. Very handy.

I've been think about getting that book for some time. You've talked me into it. I just got Hank's Bible answer book but haven't looked through it yet.

Congratulations on your achievement. But I myself have studied the Bible all year as well. I was able to read the hold Bible and was able to read the New Testament twice this year. I am reading it again. This will be my third time reading the New Testament. I have a older Bible in the back bedroom that I read when I am in there. I also started reading the old testament again and this will be the second time for it. I have wore my Bible out from all the reading I have done over the years. Back in October I purchased three new Bibles for me and the wife and one for my youngest son that is still at home. The Good lord healed my son from leukemia this year. He has battle with this cancer for 3 1/2 years. My son has been reading his Bible everyday and reads about three chapters a day. But he started reading in the Old Testament first. My wife have read the New Testament and is about finished with the old testament. She has about seven more books to go in the old. She says she will start reading her new bible when she gets through the Old Testament. The old testament has taught me that a man is blessed when he studies in the morning and in the evening. So, I just want to say God bless you and your family in your study.
