May not be big for some.......

I wanted a large camp knife. I want to spend some time in the woods, soon.

This is a 16 3/4 inch OAL with a 10 inch blade. The handles are jatoba . The steel is 1/8 inch 1095.

I think the next one will be a bit smaller.....

Lookin for somethin to chop.....

Looks functional

Is it a full tang or a rat tang?

Looking forward for your field reports Dave. I guess it's length is just nice for a camp knife. Thanks for showing it.

Very cool David. Love the lines on that one.

Full tang with the balance just ahead of the handle scales. Makes it "a bit" blade heavy....

I like it a lot, good shape and the clip looks like it keeps it from being too awfully blade heavy.

I like thinnish blades, seems like a lot of stuff these days is built like a pry bar whether it needs it or not.

I personally, believe ther same thing. I do not like the "sharpened prybar approach", but many do. Properly heat treated 1/8 inch 1095 can do just about anything one wants....IMHO
