Big Agnes list their bags in either 5'10" or 6'6". For anyone owning/using BA bags, I was curious as to their fit. I stand around 5'11" and would like to avoid the extra weight and bulk of the larger version, but I do not want to be cramped in the smaller. Looking for some actual input to help me.

Go with the large,, I am just a hair over 5'10, the regular was definitely going to be too short, I'm kind of a face down / roll around sleeper,,(so my toes are pointed) and usually pretty warm compared to the bag ratings,, I have tried out a number of models but settled on the longs in the Grouse Mtn. (15deg) for a cold weather bag, and the Pitchpine for a warm weather bag

I have the long version of the BA lost ranger bag. It fits me well, but I am 6'5". Maybe you can try going to REI or somewhere and climb inside of one.
