I’ve always been a fan of big knives, the bigger the better :D

I picked up a Cuda Maxx 5.5 and CS Voyager X2 and love them both (the Cuda is my EDC). After reading a bit on the X2, I found out it was patterned after the Spanish Navaja. Well I was hooked and really wanted one to look at and fiddle with.

After some Internet research, I found quite a few places that sell Navajas but all of them were more money than I wanted to spend without actually looking at it first hand. So off to eBay and for less than 40USD I have my new toy:

Here is my Navaja beside a Spyderco Delica:

And just to show how big it is, here it is beside my Voyager X2:

So, a little about my Navaja. The blade is 9.5 inches long and has an overall length of 20.5 inches (yes, very big). The liner/bolsters look to be a single solid cast unit (mystery metal) with real (mystery) wood handles. It has Rebel Edge on one side of the blade and China Stainless on the other. A Spanish knife made in China, will wonders never cease ;) Overall I’m pretty happy, got a big-a** knife and spent less than 40USD including S&H to Canada.

Would I trust it as a weapon NO ! ! ! Does it make me giggle MOST DEFINITELY ! ! !

Nice little whittler ya got there. ;)

Must be modled after the folder Paul Bunyan used to carry.

It's definately a handful folks, but it did get me thinking.

If it was made like the CS X2 Voyager, it wouldn't be as thick or heavy and might make the Ultimate folder.

Ah to dream of Giant Folders that make the sheeple scatter :D
