A quick shout out for Bernabe Velarde of Big B Leather Works. I know a few of my friends here already know Bernabe, but if you are not familiar with him, Bernabe is one of the most talented craftsmen, one of the most passionate artists, and one of the most awesome human beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

I have been fielding these two knives and sheaths for the last few months, one on my belt and the other around my neck, while working on what will likely be the most complex and in-depth projects I will ever do, certainly the most meaningful ones for me to date, and I couldn't be happier with them. I love the look, I love the feel, I love the function, and I love doing business with Bernabe. He will also have a table at Blade this year.

I've been thinking about sheath options for my rustic wrapped Garotte. I'll have to hit up Bernabe and see if he's interested. I think his style will complement this model.

Mistwalker Mistwalker Do you have a pic showing the back of your sheath for your Martin? Can it be carried horizontally and vertically?

Yes it does work both ways Greg. As it is in the above pics the vertical belt loop is attached to the horizontal belt loop. With the vertical loop removed via unsnapping the horizontal loop and sliding it off, my leather belt fits great and it is 1-3/8 wide and right at 1/8 inch thick. I just emailed you a few pic of it tonight due to being quicker and easier than hosting them. If anyone else is interested I can post the pics in the thread tomorrow. I am exhausted tonight.
