i just found a Bob Loveless Big Bear in a signatured sheath at a flea market. i paid $20.00 for it ( he wanted $25.00 at first -the bastar*) . I was gonna reshape it cause its just too big. Anyone ever hear of it? it seems nice. -thanks-marekz ;)

Err, uhh, I'll give you, maybe $35 for it if it's in really good shape!:D;):D

$35.00 too late ,I already ground it down into a small hunter and cut the signatured sheath into pieces for my knife vice. I keep an eye out for another one-marekz

Oh OH why would it better be a joke. I fiquered if it was worth something it wouldnt be at a flea market. the guy had a bunch of knives he said he got form his grandfathers personal box. He had some scagel or scagal knives and a morseth or something. He also had some randall knives that looked old -but why buy old ones when i can get them brand new.-Marekz

I only had $30.00 with me. maybe hell be there next week.He had a box full of all these old knives that looked kinda dusty. marekz

Sick... Some people have sick tormenting minds!!! I would fall over dead if I seen such a thing really happened.

ok ok I did get them all but for $50.00. i just want to anneal them and draw out my own designs and grind away- hey i saved on steel--with all those randall, loveless, scagel etc.. i probably saved $150.00 or more if i had bought it( the steel that is).Any way that loveless big bear is gonna make a great paring knife--ill post some pictures- thankzz for your feed back yall. marekz. oh ya im gonna crack the old stag off and put some real handle on llike pine or something--any suggestions?

Forget that cheap junk... save yourself the hassles and just get some old lawnmower blades.

Yeah, I agree with James. don't use the Scagels. There is no telling what kind of steel he made them out of. That man was one weird dude!

Make sure you use pine with the least knots and grain patterns. Those really detract form the value.

i could make the handles out of rubber bands ( cord wrap) for a real non slip grip- pretty cool huh-marekz

Your best bet would probably be to scrap them out. Then go buy some known steel!

Yeah, scrap 'em out. Because I'm a generous guy, I'll give you $55 for the lot, or trade you an equivalent amount of lawnmower blades. Trust me, I'm doing you a favor.

in the box I found a loveless delaware maid. how gay who would name a knife a maid. i think ill make a necker out of that one. marekz
