Big Beards and Black Boogers

I have recently gotten a little tired of hacking up that black crud and smelling raw metal from the encrusted boogers from grinding. I have a very thick wooly beard. No matter what I have used It still has been a problem from a poor seal.Until now.....
I took just a plain cotton t-shirt and dunked it in water and wrung it out well.I just wrapped it around my face and used my saftey glasses to seal around my nose.When I started being able to smell just remove , smoke cigarette, wet shirt and replace. I know this is not as good as a respirator, but it's better than nothing.

That's what we used in the 60's instead of a gas mask!

Mark: Start forging in front of a gas forge and you won't have to worry about the wooly beard, eye brows, arm hair and etc.

Gouge, you need something like this or this.

The second one is designed for grinding metal, the first is probably less expensive.
