I ended up with Max's BWM and I've been beating it up (to keep the love going). It has become my favorite knife. Ever.

ASHBM is the only large chopper I've played with to date. I need to strip and rip the battle saw soon. Yup, I'm pretty much a knife chump compared to all of y'all.

This old oak met the end after the Witch Creek Fire ripped through San Pasqual Valley (and much more of eastern San Diego County) in 2007.

It was extremely hard wood. The knife was up to the task but my technique and hand toughness have plenty of room for improvement.

And while this one isn't really considered a big chopper by Busse standards, John definitely thought it was big enough. Don't view it if you're squeamish. He won the game of Mumbledy Peg the hard way.
