OK, I FINALLY got out to take a pic of the Falcata alongside some other big (and not so big) blades. . .

Top to bottom:
Villager Falcata
Bhairab
25" CAK
Giant Chitlangi Bowie
My user 20" CAK
Busse CGFBM (feeling very punked at this moment)

Nice group! I had to go check on my 20" CAK as mine and yours are dead ringers for each other. Complete to the wood grain and worn blueing.

This inspires me to decide on which model in the 20"+ range to get. Soo many hard choices....

Yeah that monster Chitlangi Bowie looks like about 4 or 5 pounds of GET SOME.

My Giant Chitlangi Bowie by Sher Kami details are:

Overall length -- 24 1/4''
Weight -- 61 oz
Spine thickness 1/2''

Sadly 3ounces less than 4 pounds but which makes it perfect for my left hand as my right has the 64ounce Bhariab in it when things go 'bump' in the night.

And I wont whine because I have not got a Falcata ... because one day I will! :D

I'll stick with the Battle Chitlangi for now.

;)

Chitlangi Bowie is another one on my list, but I actually covet the smaller ones.

There is a Chitlangi Bowie, that is, I think "only" 15" long, versus 24" for the giant Chitlangi Bowie.

A Giant Chit Bowie is for when you want to make a Tyrannosaurus piss itself.

I still need an AK bowie for small work. . .;)

ETA: for the bump in the night scenario, I was thinking. Picture this (don't be eating): A naked Cpl. running down the hallway with the Bhairab in left hand and Falcata in the right (Falcata is more blade-heavy, so my strong hand gets it), screaming "THIS IS SPAR-TAAA!"

:D

You wouldn't have to cut me-I'd be dead from shock and horror before you got to the end of the hall!
