Nothing says let me at it like a large knife and one of the biggest boys has to be the Bulldog....big,bold and sharp.
The pattern was introduced in the 1920's or 1930's with the CASE TESTED stamp in bone, stag, and various celluloid handles. And then was reintroduced as the "Bulldog" in the early 1960's with stag handles. I'm not positive of the exact year that it was reintroduced, but the 5172 Bulldog did not preview in the 1959 Case catalog but it was shown in the next catalog that came out in 1964.
Fast forward with a little help from Pepe Jalomo and shrink one of my favorite patterns to 4" closed, hand rubbed blade, stag and a taste of Texas and I have a real pocket friendly Bulldog...
How about showing a few of your favorite Bulldog's
