Big brown truck lost the race

Well my bad luck struck again, but I have a little more info for the next time I need something shipped.

I put an order into TKS last thursday night, and friday they called and said they were shipping it, but had to send it in two parts. One was sent priority mail , the other was sent UPS 3 day select. I got the priority mail package early monday when the mail showed up. Big brown hasn't showed yet

The bad luck part is that the priority mail package was just a sheet of SS for liners, and I already have enough for another month. The UPS package has all the hardware I ordered, along with the steel I could have started using YESTERDAY to make a folder frame with. Blade is ground and sitting on the bench, waiting for a handle.

That kind of thing is the very reason I started heat treating my own Blades and springs and I dont regret it one bit.I used to cross my fingers and toes everytime I sent knives to be heattreated, praying they would come back home.

I took up my own heat treating for the same reason too.

This was just materials I had ordered. And I'm really pissed with UPS now that they showed up.
We were obviously home, the garage door was open with a car parked inside. He didn't knock on the door or ring the doorbell. He didn't leave it on the front porch. He put it ON THE GARAGE FLOOR BEHIND THE CAR!!!! What the HELL did he think he was doing !?!
Not only did I not know the stuff had showed up, it was pure luck that I went into the garage and found it before my mom tried to back her car out!
WHY ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID
