This is a new version of an old design. I made the first one several years ago and it is not untill now I have revived the design with another knife.

The knife is made partially fulltang partially halftang. The fulltang extends to the back of the bolster. They are made of 304 SS pinned with four 1/8" pins to the 1/4" RWL-34 blade. From the back of the bolster the tang continues as a halftang. The handle is stacked leather and the pommel is made of aluminium.

here is a detailview of the bolster/joint:

and here you can see where the fulltang ends. If you look close you can see a very fine hairline between bolsters and blade....:

Let me know what you think.

For a minute there, when I first saw this knife, I thought you had made an integral. Not so, but it sure is nice. Some classic lines and flawless work.

Thanks for your kind words!

The classic lines are very real :) The first one made probably 8 years ago or so......similar in style but somewhat different in the way it was buildt was inspired by a Loveless Lawndale Subhilt...I took what I liked and made it to my likings.......one of my best friends has the first one I made. This one was sent to Asia....

Balancepoint is right on the middle of the bolsters, right at the indexfinger so it is amazingly alive in the hand.
