Ha! Just kidding. Kinda.
This year Christmas falls on a Friday. Fiddleback Forge gives two paid days off to all employees on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so that everyone can celebrate Jesus' Birthday with their families. I will not make Phillip be the only employee required to work on Christmas. In addition, I don't want anyone to have to miss out on family time to be near their computer for the sharking. As it happens much the same situation happens the following week for the 1st of the year. Due to this we will move the sale thread to Wednesday for those two weeks. And finally, to avoid stepping on WAS Wednesdays, we will merge Allen's sales thread with ours on both of those days. Nothing else about the thread or the weekly schedule will change. After the Christmas New Years holidays pass, we will resume the Fiddleback Friday Festivities as usual.
On a more personal note, I want to thank all of our customers from the bottom of my heart for their support. Knifemaking is a calling for me. It was the answer to a desperate prayer for direction. I put my faith in what I do and follow the knives without doubt or fear. The company has succeeded to this point not because of me. It succeeds because of you all. Thank you for providing this for me and my employees. We love you more than you know.
