Hi,
Let me show you the work done last summer.
Blade is forged from russian bearing steel by Anton Zhuykov and is 9.5 inches long (240/36-42/6-3mm). Handle is made of satin wood burl and bronze, 140 mm total. Handle is set with epoxy and m5 screw. Veg-tan leather sheath.
I had tested it, chopping а 6 inch aspen, seemed very good. Then my friend, the owner of this knife, told me that after bit of work, cleaning an old apple garden his hand felt very well and all the design turned out to be very effective. Well, it's classic northern one.

With all respect,
Leonid.
