Finished this up tonight. It will be heading to the owner after the sheath is complete. This knife was made using the design drawing my customer sent me. The blade is 5160, 11 inches long. The spine at the guard is a little less than 5/16 inches thick. The Handle is ironwood burl 5 and1/4 inches long. The guard is 416 stainless steel with a copper spacer.

Thanks for lookin

that is a great looking chopper. The customer must have big mitts, that looks like a hand filling handle.

Pete, looks like she has some heft. Had your hunter wearing iron wood in hand last night - the fit, finish and feel are all superb. Thanks again, Dan

Hi Dan, I'm glad you like your knife. This chopper does have some heft.

Hi Keith, Yep the gentleman has a large hand. The shape is very comfortable even with my medium sized hand.
