Big Combat Bowie

Came across this prototype of a new design that is hopefully going to become a production model sometime soon.

Its a big-ass bowie with the awesome handle ergos of the CQC-13 and an aggressive clip point blade, that looks a bit like a CQC-12 on steroids.

Plus it has the nifty hidden wave feature usually found on the Raven series.

Man, this thing would be my dream Emerson!

It does look a lot like a fat 12 blade on a pumped up 13 handle.

What's the difference between this one and the CQC-13, except for the hidden wave? Is it bigger? What's the difference between the blades of the 12 and the 13? I thought they were identical.

I don't have specs unfortunately but yes I believe it is bigger than the 13. The blades of the 12 and 13 aren't identical. The 13 has a more pronounced clip and a sharper tip.

Ok. I love the CQC-13. It's one of the most underestimated Emersons IMO. Great to have a new variation of it.
