Yup, big day and I ain't particularly lookin forward to it except for the healing to begin... I've put up with bad teeth for years and now the remaining 15 are all coming out at once, 6 on the bottom front, and 9 on top, all over the place! I'm not sure where the greatest concentration on top is located as I've got at least one crown and a bridge on my top right.

I was thinking earlier yesterday that at least my bottom denture wouldn't hurt as much seeing as how I haven't had any teeth on my outside bottom for so long and then I thought again and thought, "Yeah Right!!!!!" :foot: :(

Ouch... you are sure taking the bite out all at once! Good luck and I hope you heal fast. I'm couched healing from shoulder surgery. The doc found rotor cuff damage while in there too, which will double my recovery time it sounds like. I'll find out for sure Monday at physical therapy.

You'll be fine, Yuh nSuh.

Alan, pain is not therapeutic. Get as many meds for that as you can. Heal fast.

I miss our oral surgeon. He started his career as an Air Force surgeon many decades ago and finally retired back about ten years ago.

He cut two wisdom teeth out of my wife's mouth and I was only waiting in the lobby of his office about 15 minutes  He was good at what he did. Really good.

Smoke and Prayers for easy recovery and gentle healing.
Look at it thisaway, Edutsi. Compared to what you've been thru in the past few years, this should be a walk in the park.

Thanks guys! Got outta there at 11:15 this morning, bleeding has been much worse than I expected but controllable with a little care.
Pain isn't all that bad but did have to get script filled, weird considering the strong medication I'm on for my back. But then that's why so many are made I suppose.;)
What's really surprising to me is that my dentures don't feel all that strange or anything, maybe because I've been trying to psyche myself out that they would feel as close to natural as possible? I dunno.  :D ;)
Hopefully as time goes on they won't be any more troublesome than they've been today...  :D

You will get used to them. May take a bit. But you do get used to them. I've got a partial lower denture and a full upper denture. Did something similar to what you are doing. Two appointments, half the upper teeth one appointment, the rest the next, 3 days later. The lower was due to an accident that took out 5 teeth. I'm trying to keep the remaining teeth I have as long as I can, but I see more teeth going bad, and a full lower denture in my future.
Be prepared to replace or reline your dentures at least once before the year is out, due to the gums shrinking around the area where the teeth were.

Smoke sent for fast healing.

Thanks guys!

LOLOL - I'm even meaner lookin without my teeth than Shrek's Evil Twin Brother on a hangover mornin! :thumbdn:  :grumpy: LMRRAO! ;) :D
And especially right now and probably even worse in the mornin if or when even more bruising shows up! Barbie says, "There's no way in hell I'm taking you anywhere until all that bruising heals up!" and I can't say that I blame her the way she knows me. ;) :o :foot:

Denturist said there was a hot spot, couldn't prove it by me, and he buffed it out. After removing them several times today to rinse with salt water I'm thinkin I could tell him where a helluva lot more are at now! I'll go back soon for what he calls a, "temporary reline." seems kinda soon to me but I suppose that's why he's pretty damned high on a lot of oral surgeon's and dentist's "Top Denturist List's" around Tulsa and the surrounding area. :D
