Well, we've got a thread on mini flashlights, so I thought I'd start something a little different.

I currently EDC a Surefire E2e. It is a great all around flashlight, but I've been thinking of getting a larger light, but something still small enough to EDC. I was wondering, does anyone EDC a three-cell Surefire? How easily does it carry? Anyone EDC an M2? How do you like it?

I carry a G2Z in my pocket and its a fine light. Some people (on www.candlepowerforums.com) in their opinion even say its better than the M2 in terms of build quality. If youre looking into a 3 cell, try to check out Steamlight's new TL-3 Xenon. Its brightness is in between SureFire's P90 and P91 lamps, only costs $70 including a spare bulb in the head.

ps: my sig picture was taken from the g2z

I recently got a C2. I was lusting after an M2, but I realized that the added benefits of the M2 wouldn't be advantageous to me, and the C2 is much more easily pocket carried. I like the C2's compact size and output, and that I can go with the P60 bulb, or the P61 to kick up the lumen output!

What are the differences between the M2 and the C2? Is it just the shock isolated bezel?

The M2 comes with both the P60 and P61 High Output Lamp Assembly.

There was a time when the bodies were different but I believe for some time now the M2 and C2 have used exactly the same body and o-rings.

The Shock Isolated Bezel is a very important feature. Not withstanding the enhanced shock isolating, the M2 has bezel interchangeability with the popular M95 Series Millennium WeaponLights.

I often carry the M6. I have the Blackhawk nylon pouch for it.

Then again, I carry the McCulloch x990 on occasion also. Now that's a beeg flashlight.

but i've heard the d3 with srth head on it for long range use is a very carryable package. i also got a chance to handle an ultrastinger at Galyans and it was a lot smaller than i expected it to be. first thing i did was shine it in my eyes. boy was that a mistake!!

I used to carry a Surefire 9Z on my belt when doing real estate appraisal inspections. Got tired of lugging it around when an E2 would give me more than enough light. The 9Z is now my hang by the back door for taking the dogs out at night light.:)

i edc an m3
i keep it in a bhi m16 3 mag pouch with quick release
very handy

I've got a 9P (alright, it's a 6P + A19 adaptor) and I think that it's a bit too large for EDC. I always carry a Strider MFS and a Powerlock, and when I add my E2e in a kydex sheath it's already a bit bulky. I imagine that the 9P would be print like mad, since the light plus sheath is a bit thicker than even my Powerlock in kydex with Tek-Lok.

Oh, I don't wear gangsta humongous shirts, but I would have to if I wanted to carry a 9P without making people think that I'm carrying a handgun.

I have a Sure Fire D3, which is certainly slim and light enough to EDC. Kicks serious butt, too ....;)

The Wolf-Eyes Explorer gives out quite an eyeful of light. With its tail-light (4 LED) of five lumens. It is not only bright but also fun to use.

Definitely, a flashlight that gladdens the heart and brightens your day (and night)! :)
