This is a very narrow thread for real beer drinkers who like wine strong beers.:D Anyone else in busse land drinkin' some?
Qualifications: Your beer must be at least 9% alc. by volume.
It can't be a cheap mass produced beer.:barf: It needs to be a limited brew or micro brew. You need at least four.:D for some reason I think I will be the only one on this thread;) Oh, and by the way unless you have the hook up, It should cost at least 2.50 a beer.

Jeff:D

I used to have some Sam Adams Triple laying around but I think I accidentally drank it all;) :D

SevenEdges. . . . So young. . . so innocent!!!!

Beer is exactly like prescription drugs my friend! You can either take 1 prescription Motrin or 2 over-the-counter Motrin in order to get the same amount of active ingredients. It is the same with beer. . . You can either drink one of those syrupy, sexually questionable beers with 9% alcohol that taste like crap and make you feel even worse . . or you can drink 2 testosterone laiden Carling Black Labels (God's special vitamin) and really enjoy the trip!!!!!:p :) :D

This public service announcement has been brought to you by,

The Bus Man. . . . still brewing since '76 !!!!

Go with the Big Foot or a little bottle of Old Foghorn. I brewed one at about 8.5% called Frog Slaughter Ale but it's all gone, however, I still have the recipe. We tried some 8 year old barleywine at brew club last month that was about 11%. Sweet!

Public Service announcements? Does anyone still wonder why CBS doesn't pick up Jerry for theirs? :D

MMMMM... Kasteel Bier from Belgium. Tastes a lot like Chimay, but ups the ETOH 2.5% to 11%. One 750ml bottle has the punch of an average six-pack!

Oh, yer talking strong beer! That's good too! If you ever see beers by a Quebec company called Unibroue, buy them now! They have good names too!

Maudite - the damned one, 8%
La fin du monde - the end of the world, 9%

There's lots more, but I can't get them all out here on the Left Coast

Cheers,
BJB :D

Aw.. Apparently you are familiar with them in Vermont. Good on ya!

Blanche de chambly in the summer! Yum!

Cheers,
BJB :D

Come on Jerry,:D

I think your analogy is a little off.
It's more like drinking two beers in the same amount of time it takes to drink one.:D

I mean, can you really drink eight beers an hour?:D
