Just finished this one.
Kiridashis are aways fun to make and I haven´t made on in a while, so I made this one:
It is 5 1/2" long with a 2" cutting edge, made of 5160 steel chisel grond on the right side, selectivelly heat treated (what gave it a nice temper line) and antique finished with fherric chlorid, excep for the edge, that I kept bright for a contrasting effect.
The handle is black ray skin, cord wrapped and resin soaked, with a very slim profile.
Lte me know what you think.
