Big knife from the Philippines

I inherited it when my grandfather passed away years ago. I know it's at least 50 something years old because thats when they moved to the states. The sheath it 2pc of wood banded with ratan it think, and I believe the handle is some kind of horn but my uncle says it's wood. I use it around the yard and it's one heck of a chopper. I just wanted to share some pictures.

Nice native bolo, and for sure, looks like to be one hell of a chopper.
You should also listen to the advice of Not2sharp but... That's just my two cents.
 
Looks sturdy and fast. Pretty darned cool. Agree about that wicked distal taper.
