Big knives with a wave function

The new Voyager Vaquero fully serrated XL is the most fearsome folding blade I can think of.
Want to buy it, but there is just one point that spoils this knife for me: no wave option.

Since I modded my Spyderco, I just cannot get myself to buy a knife that I cannot wave.

My second favorite is the Espada L. also from Cold Steel.
It has the thumb plate that doubles as a wave hook.

But before I place my order, I thought I'd ask for some recommendations on this forum.

Any suggestions for sturdy, ergonomic, big, frighting folders with a wave hook?
Fully serrated is just icing on the cake, not a must.

emersons, as mentioned above.

spyderco wave endura? there might even be a fully serrated model.

cold steel aK-47, and rajah 3? or 2 maybe

Böker makes a couple knives with a "hilt" that doubles as a wave; the CRKT M16s are like that too. For something a lot cheaper, you could take a Dremel to an Enlan EL-01 (there are a few videos on youtube showing this).

Thanks for the input so far.
Still think I'm going for the Espada L.

But I've been bitten by the steel bug so bad, that it is no longer the question what blades I will buy, just in what order I will buy them.
Looks like I'll buy them all, eventually. :D

Contact STR (he has a sub forum here) and ask him about waving. He has waved Spyderco, and 5.11 knives for me. He should be able to point you in the right direction if you have a knife but would like it "waved".

I'll wave anything that folds.

You can wave-mod the Vanquero...

take the thumbstud off and run a wire (like from a hanger) through the hole on the blade, then twist into a wave. Or you can fashion a hook from a piece of steel and screw it into the same thumbstud hole.

Also the Rajah II has thumbplates too.

I'm personally not a huge fan of wave opening anymore since it's basically useless sitting or on your back...

try putting a small lanyard in them, pop a finger through it and itll wave open rather easily and doesnt need a lot of space to work, can easily be done from sitting position, dont know about on your back though
