Heh, just took a picture of two of my balis that seemed like a nice pair. Probably not all that exciting, given all the bali images posted here! But still, there's a cuteness factor going on here. :)

Just noticed that the white balance is way off... ah well, gotta play around with that.

To be honest, I hate when people post balisong pictures without telling what models the knife/knives are.

Thanks to BaliLover I know that one of them is a 48, but I do not know which one, and I do not know who the maker is (Benchmade, most likely, or PC, or Bali-Song). I notice that they both have 'hidden' pins, but unfortunately, I don't remember whether it's older BM, PC or BS models that used to have that... :( (How come I got the feeling that the grammar in that sentence was completely messed up? ;))

But I can't just be pissed: nybble, those are some great looking knives, and I have to admit that I envy you (as well as the rest of you ;)) a little. Nice picture. :)

.........the 4" in the lower left is a the 48 and the 3" in the upper right is the 68. I hope this helps......;)

Edited to add: Nice knives Nybble!!!! :D

Very nice pic nybble! Those hidden pins sure look schnazzy... wish they could still do that without losing the advantages of the torx screws. :( Ah, the ever annoying balance between esthetics and function...

Thanks everyone for the compliments! (Sorry ix about not posting the model numbers, I hate it too when people do that! I blame it on sleep deprivation.)

I love my 48 - it was my first non-POS balisong and it was given to me by an old employer some years back! Unfortunately, it's a bit wobbly - lot's of blade play. I want to send it back to BM, but am waiting to get another SS or otherwise "heavy" handled bali to play with. I think it'll be away for a long time, sigh...

Blasto, I always hem and haw on that front. Thinking it looks *so* nice, but what a pain in the ass not being able to readjust it. Especially because I want to and do flip it all the time, there's no hope. :)

Very nice balis, nicely photographed. May I ask what camera you used?

RARanney, it's a Canon Powershot S30 that I just recently got, still learning the ins and outs. I really do like it a lot, my only complaint is that macro mode is only ok (focus up to 6"). But it's got a lot of manual control and quite a nice lens (when I can focus it properly).

Yes..., very nice photo Nybble.., and nice knives! I'd be interested in the type camera also, just because I'm trying to learn something about the picture stuff.., thanks... :)

S30, thank you. I was looking at the smaller S300 for shooting some balisongs. Because of its' size, it could also go hiking with me. The reviews said it doesn't have a good macro mode, but the BM pictures are very good, and I think the two cameras are ballpark equivalent.
