Does anyone carry a big (larger than 3") non-locking folder? Does any company still make them?

CaseXX still makes their large folding hunter in several different scale patterns.

Case's Sodbuster pattern is also still available. This design is a timeless classic, and I have seen examples of this pattern in several Civil War Museums and exhibits.

My Uncle carried one daily for many years. It truly is/was a heckuva knife.

It's not the pace of life that concerns me, It's the sudden stop at the end.

Dont carry it in my pocket,(no clip)
but sometimes with me is a French Laguiole.
It has a very stiff spring.

There everywhere. Buck has a stockman that hits 4" closed I believe. Schrade has several in that same size range in their old timer series. Case has several models to lok at too.

I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer... but I've got the sharpest knife in the room.
