Wow! Ask and you shall receive, right?
That´s a very impressive bowie, Reggie, and the wood you choose for the handle makes it even more outstanding.
Thanks a lot!

I give up. How DID you suspend that thang??! (Looks like how Terry Primos used to photograph his work.)

Oh, and it's Honkin'©! :D

Wish it was heading my way,Keith! Wish it was.
Reggie just said it was for me because on the other thread he posted (about the hunters) I asked for pics of a big one.
Maybe one of these days...

Thats a very impressive Bowie. I like it so much my fingers started poking keys by themselves. Lin:)

Gorgeous Bowie.Nice image.
The guard/ferrule treatment matches the dark stripes in the curly maple nicely.
Good looking blade,great work.

Coop,
I didn't take the photo, but the finished image does look just like the type of surrealistic photo editing I did for many of my knives.

Not to sound like O.J. Simpson, but if I did edit the photo of Reggie's knife, here's how I would have done it:

The knife would have been cut & pasted onto a background of stained leather as a new layer. The background layer would have been texturized with a texture that I don't recognize at the moment. Then I would have given the background a slight Gaussian Blur.

The background would have been finished off with the "Pool Shadow" filter from "Greg's Factory Output Volume II".

Finally, the drop shadow which gives the knife that suspended in air look was would have been done with "Alien Skin's" "Perspective Shadow".

Reggie, is one that I tweaked for you?

Terry,

I always hated you for that. You make me cry!!!... :p

Glad to see you come back and say hello.
