We all know that new models will probably soon be announced. What are you hoping/wanting to see. Big or small blades? Then to expand on that what are you hoping they look like? If its a smaller blade, is it for EDC, or are you looking for a monster field knife?
Blade shape, finish, give me everything you got.

Give me your hopes and dreams? :D:D

And before someone else says it, lets avoid the folder discussion I think it is well documented we all want that ;)

I am hoping Mr. Busse comes out with something that looks like a Badger Attack on steroids. About .5 inch longer, same tip profile, but fully sharpened the length of the spine, with the rear handle hole in place (as opposed to the shorn off one on the Badger). Call it the Wolverine Attack. ;)

I want slimmer E handles (like those Flying Tiger handles), and a BA blade with a grooved choil for choking up, with a satin finish. And a SH with handles like that, too, and smooth black coating.
Dat's all I need:)

I really hope that Mr. Busse has created some type of short sword!!!!!
24" or more would be really cool.

It won't happen but it sure would be nice!!!

I'd like to see a run of Retro Steel Hearts with the bird beak pommel:)

A shorter SJ in the Euro 4, Mean Street lentgth would also rock:cool:

Or how about SHs, BMs, and Nos in 5/16":D

Bad Apple or Mean Street sized would be great. I also really like the design on an apprentice knife which evolved into the Basic 3 in 3/16ths and would love to see a full INFI version...perfect to soothe the pains of losing the Basics.

I'd like to see a small thinner bladed Hunter model for
us hunters!!:D

I like Strab's idea of a Birdsbeak Steel Heart!!! YEAH!!:D

A new generation of the Badger Attack. Jerry mentioned awhile back about the possibilities of making small knives with straight handle. I see a Badger Attack blade on a Satin Jack handle. I'm also waiting for the fillet knife on steriods. :D

I almost forgot the BIG end of the spectrum!

Uncle Screwtapes kuk design would make a fantastic 10th anniversary blade:D

Well, I almost said a multi-blade folder to follow the soon to be released (O.K. a guy can dream can't he??) but how big would the dolly to carry it be??

Sounds good to me! I would also love to see a BM with the FT handle or just a thicker handle and with a 12" blade. Something huge :D !

The bigger the better. I really like contenders 7.5" straight handled Battle Mistress, and the knife Jerry sent his brother is very nice.
But if I had to choose one knife it would be an oversized straight handle BM with a full 2" wide blade about 12" in length or a little longer.

Amen, Brother Strabs. You're the mack daddy, no matter what others here say. :D

Like others, I'd like to see something in the 4-5" range.

I'm hoping for more options in the mid-small range. Here is what I would really like to see:

5" blade w/choil, 3/16" thickness, straight handle (but with quilted micarta), satin finish, clip point. They could call it the "lean mean wolverine"! I think it'd be just damn near perfect! :D

On the large end of the spectrum, I'd love to see a 12" battle mistress with a recurved blade, or maybe a BIG bolo.

A Filet Knife too...

4"-5" with large choil

BM with the Tiger handle and more blade

Birds Beak any thing

Machete

a "Shark" style knife for EDC

an INFI set of steak knifes

ALL in SATIN FINISH

Eric,

My ideal size smaller knife would be similar to a Satin Jack but with:
- a 3/16" thick INFI clip point
- the blade 3/4" shorter
- no (or very minimal) choil, and therefore more available cutting edge
- the handle end about 3/8" shorter (no exposed tang on the end)
- grooves on the spine for the thumb to grab, like on a Benchmade AFCK
- a Resiprene handle

The end result would be about 10" long, with a very secure grip, and lighter and faster than the SJ.

For a larger knife, an old style Battle Mistress would be very tempting.

Thanks for asking!:)

Gene
