BIG project coming up, need some help from the HOGS.

This August at lovely Fort Bliss, TX, I will be entering the "BBQ Bliss" BBQ Cook-off. I will entering all categories Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork, and Beef Brisket. :eek:

First of all could one of you HOGS make me a deal on a XXL NICK (and no I am not an XXL, I AM an L at best :p :D ) I don't have an XXL just a skinny one, and since it is ground with a right hand bias and I cut left handed I need something different since I will be doing a lot of cutting. This is a serious project so I need some serious tools for this job so only INFI will do. :D

Second since most HOGS of my acquaintance are connoisseurs of grilled meat any recipes or ideas would be welcome. I have pretty much decided on all the recipes and sauces but any ideas or extra tasty preparations are welcome. :)

And finally one of the things being judged is showmanship. I don't have a name for my one man operation yet. Any ideas on in the showmanship / name arena would be helpful and knowing the fertile imagination of this crowd there should be some interesting ideas.

I will be doing a "dry run" here soon to test the cooking process and the recipes. Too bad none of you HOGS live close by, you could come over and help with tasting. So howaboutit? Any ideas?

Dang, wish I lived near El Paso!!!!!!! I'll be thinking of stuff for you Nick. I have not received any of my NICKs from the shop yeat, but I am told some of the are done, probably just the thin ones, if they are in fact done. I may have some before my kids get married. I am sure someone here can loan you one of theirs. If you win anything you have got to bring plenty of samples to Blade next year!!!!!

I like the sigs Nick. That's the problem with this world, too many fuzzy characters and not enough Davy Crockett.

Thanks for the offers of a loan of a XXXL.:thumbup:

However, I just don't want to take the risk of something happening to someone else's knife. Icouldn't live with myself if something happened to a loaner. I will figure something else out. :cool:

Should be great time regardless.:D
