I have been working on these just about non-stop since I have been back... 11 Ti Friction Folders!

Picture - I had just spent a day sanding the frames flat on my granite surface plate and am testing the assembly... everything is dead on perfect and centered!

My standoffs and the rest of my pivots are ordered and coming in soon... in the meanwhile I'm going to grind the blades and do lots more sanding! These will be carbidized...

Hot! You plan to do various grinds on the blades?

What steel are you using for the blades? How much will you be asking for them?

The blades are 6al4v Titanium with a 72 RC Tungsten Carbide edge.

The Ti is ultralight and strong; the carbide does the cutting. I have been using the combo for a while now and am very happy with the high performance and ease of maintenance.

$235-250 shipped

Thanks! Great questions

All will be my Fighter grind with unsharpened swedge. Much appreciated!

Thanks guys! Today I worked more on chamfering the frames and started the grinds.

After some thought I have decided that these will be $235 shipped... stonewashed finish, chisel grind with carbide, heat colored hardware!

I can't wait to join the club!

Welcome to the forum sjducks. Careful, getting one Fairly leads to another and another and another. Before you know you have 10 or 15, not that it's a bad thing.

Thanks! I only recently heard of DFK after several years of collecting and using knives. Now I can't stop refreshing his site to see if anything comes up for sale. And you're right, I can't imagine myself only owning one.

Hey Daniel Great looking folders! Any plans for a stainless blade or open and closed detent?? Thanks Walt
