Here is one I just completed for a client. Its a big one. Blade length is 9 3/4", width is 1 1/2" and total length is 15 3/4". All Damascus fittings with the blade being San Mia of 1095 and Damascus is 1095 and nickel. Sambar stag.I have a bunch of hours in this one but it was fun to build. Hope you approve.

Yes Dan I approve. And if anyone doesn't, I'd like to know why. Another example of grade A materials and excellent craftsmanship. Well done!!!

approve? no. this is more of a stand up and applaud moment...stunningly beautiful piece

That damascus looks spectacular! I'm not really a big fan of stag, but that handle, with its transition from the bone to damascus, is very nice, and admittidly, would not look as good with Wood, or micarta or the like. Very nice knife!!

It looks much better in hand than those pics. I appreciate Dan making this really fine blade for me. It is really one of the star pieces in my collection, which include many fine makers. His work is on a level that few can equal and, while exhibition quality, is still capable of hard use.
