Let me start this off by saying that before I became a member of this financial black hole, I had an SOG Trident, and a Leatherman Charge. That was it. Since then...well, let me show, not tell.
My minty Fehrman Last Chance next to minty BATACLE #39, received today in a fantastic trade with MHawg, who, might I say, is a gentleman.
(As you can see, I've already oiled the grips!)
Another pic of the two...for any of those who have wondered about how these things compare or contrast. The Fehrman just feels right in my hands, but that BATACLE is something to behold. Wifey says the Fehrman should be the work knife, but that the BATACLE is art. She's a good woman.
All the tacticool toys (minus the shotty) welcoming the BATACLE home. Notice how the EKI has this NEED to be up top. Napoleonic complex...
This is my first Busse, but it most certainly will NOT be my last. I really like the Last Chance, but the BATACLE is blade as art. Don't get me wrong, the LC is a badass-looking knife, but it's like looking at a picture of Viggo Mortenson from "Eastern Promises" next to Monica Bellucci from "Brotherhood of the Wolf."
