Just finished, spec.s are to customers request.

Steel is 152 layer 1095/1084/15n20/O-1
5.5" from tip to taint and 10.937" overall and flat ground from .156"
scales are camel bone with black liners.

Been fishin for a name for the pattern, kinda experimental, I got scrambled eggs, and snakeskin so far:cool:
 
The pattern looks like the inside of a geode or marble.


the knife is just....wow.
 
Looks good Erwin. Brad Vice(Ala. Damascus) make a pattern similar to that and calls it buck shot. Probably ride over to David's first of next month. Hope to see you this trip. Missed ya last time. Mike

Fiddleback is the nickname for a Brown Recluse spider. The scientific name for them is Loxosceles reclusa. The avatar looks like a close up of a fiddleback to me, hence the connection. :cool:
