Well, I am as happy as a clam with the arrival of the Big Sky Camp knife. I decided to bite the bullet with a bit of coaxing from Big Mike and reading his review on another forum. Man is this a nice hunk of steel. I don't have a lengthy review, but thought I would post some photos of it with the rest of my BRKT posse.
I have average sized hands. This is a significant knife. Shaved very easily out of the box. Nice canvas micarta handles. A bit plain but very functional.
Family photo as it were. From left to right, Big Sky Camp, Bravo 1, Gunny, Woodland Special, and Little Creek.
The only knife I have in the same size range as the Big Sky Camp is the Falkniven A2. I add this to show approximate size. The A2 has a bit longer blade, grip is a bit more tacky, but the Big Sky is a more 'hand filling' grip. Both are extremely solid feeling knives.
This is a bit blurry, but gives an idea of blade comparison. A2 on left and Big Sky on right.
OK, just took this one because I thought it was a cool photo!! The Little Creek is my EDC.
Cute little knife!!
Maybe this interested someone!!
