Big "Southwest" Camp knife

Here is one I just finished, headed overseas, 11-1/4" blade, forged 1095, 17" overall including exposed tang. Koa wood handle. A big handfull of knife... cant wait to make some small pieces soon!

Wow! That looks great! I would be curious about spine thickness and overall weight.

thanks all, not sure on exact wieght, but its a handfull. It was forged from stock that is between 1/4" and 5/16" thick. There is not alot of distill taper, only tapering from about the clip area forward.

It cuts very well, that much I know. ;)
