It's a good knife. I don't care much for the blade lock though. I much prefer the lock type on my Normark Super Swede (lanyard tab lock).

I picked up a used Super Swede for $10 and consider it money well spent. I was told they used to be fairly popular with foresters in the Pacific NW some years back. I first really got interested in them when we had four men from B Squadron, 22nd SAS come to go on an exercise in Montana with our Company (1st SFGA). Three of the four men were carrying Super Swedes, the fourth man had a Puma White Hunter.

Thanks, Gents!! He really like the Big Swede but he is starting to carry a German "Cat" folder!! He is a spend-thrift!
