I am a little confused. Is there going to be a big Temperance along with the L'il Temperance?

If yes, when will it begin to ship to stores and customers?

Thanks!

Well, Steve, I think the only "big" Temperance will be a fixed blade. I thought I remembered seeing a pic of one some time ago, but I can't seem to find the darn thing. Maybe Carlos has one somewhere...

Hi Steve. Sorry for the confusion. The original plan was to produce a 4" folding Temperance and a 3" folding Temperance along with a 4.5" fixed blade Temperance. There was to be both a leaf shaped blade and a trailing point (rhino horn) version of each pattern which makes 6 models of the "Temperance". (add trainers and serrated versions and the number of SKUs grows significantly).

We decided that my earlier "plan" was overly aggressive and we're moving more moderately with the Temperance line.

The Lil" Temperance is now out in leaf and rhino horn, that would be the 3" version. trainers and serrations are yet to be released.

The next version to come out is the Fixed Blade leaf shape version and a trainer. both with kydex sheaths. After, we'll hide'n'watch for a while to see if the Temperance line concept is well received or not.

hope that helps.

"so many designs, so little money"

Sal, when will the serrated versions of the Temperance jr be released?

I would guess within the next 6 months. The model is behind on delivery now.

Thanks everybody! I really like the concept myself. I hope I can find a L'il T in a store some where to try on for size. I will be very interested to see the fixed version too.

Sal, wasn't the Chinook originally related to tthe Temperance? I know remember seeing small Chinook prototypes that looked alot like the Chinook. I even think that some of them might have had either liner or compression locks. Am I mistaken?

The rhino horn version of the Lil T and T was influenced by James Keating. The Chinook is a James Keating design. Right now, the Chinook serves the 4" rhino horn market quite well, so there is no immediacy for the larger folding Temperance. Once we get sorted out with the current new designs, we'll be re looking at and improving current designs. We'll see where we go. I'd like to see a Compression lock version of the Chinook. When we first made the
Chinook, the Compression lock wasn't tested yet. We'd had so many set backs on the Chinook, I didn't want to take the chance on an untested lock.
