One of our local Hogs decided that I needed a stamp for my leatherwork (and he paid for it in advance sneaky hog!). I have been considering it, but havent seemed to find the time to work on it as the artwork and computer skills are a little out of my area. Well he decided to take it upon himself to conspire with another hog who helped out with the artwork. This is what we came up with.

I dont want to out these guys, but if they choose to chime in thats up to them. I know who you are and I wont soon forget what you two have done for me. :D

The top one will be what my stamp will look like, and the bottom is a logo for my website.

Chuck - They look really nice.

Now that you have an ASH-1, I have to get you to make he a sheath, so I can see the stamp in person :-)

I'll PM you in a bit on that.

Thanks,
Dwaine

Once you get the ASH-1, please let me know how much it will be for a sheath.

Thanks,

Oops, I guess I should have mentioned that it will take a couple weeks for the company to finish it. I think the pope has to bless it first or something. Just kidding, I am sure they are busy like everyone else.

No problem. I guess pre-stamp sheaths will be worth more anyway :-)

Very nice. I like the little claw action you have going on there in the lower left corner.

Guilty, as charged.

The big THANK YOU goes to mymindisamob whom I skillfully coerced into employing his exceptional Illustrator and Photoshop design skills, to work with Chuck to reach the design that you see above. I could never have come up with anything like that. What you see above is very tasteful, professional, and genuine art.

Some background, for those who are interested. I had the idea of a Chuddy Bear Leather stamp a couple weeks ago. I noticed one thing missing from my Chuddy Bear sheaths: a maker's mark. Given the exceptional quality of Chuck's work, I figured that it was time for him to have an Impression Leather Stamp (that's what they are called) made. With some help from Dwayne and Stacy Puckett, I found a suitable company to do the work. Once I figured out the ballpark price, I pre-paid it, so that Chuck would have no choice but to accept the gift. I lined up mymindisamob a week or two earlier. I wanted all of my ducks in a row before contact Chuck.

I broke the news to Chuck on Friday evening.:thumbup:

I already submitted the artwork to the company who will make this stamp, and will follow up tomorrow to make sure that everything is set with this order. They told me that these stamps typically take two to three weeks to be made, and I am sure that the Thanksgiving Day holiday may make this longer.

lunde, the first logo is too dark, the second, too light... :foot::foot: ...Sorry, J/K!! Couldn't resist! ;):D

VERY cool, you guys!:thumbup: Guess I'll have to get a Chuddy Bear sheath or 2 now... :D:thumbup:
